Recover Instagram automations skipped at your monthly limit
More capacity can make some skipped replies recoverable. Check the deadline, request the rerun, and confirm what actually happened in Activity.

If an Instagram automation was skipped because you reached your monthly allowance, open Automations → Activity → Skipped. LinkStack shows eligible runs that still have time to reply. Once capacity is available, choose Rerun skipped automations, then check Activity for the result.
An upgrade does not automatically replay skipped runs. You choose whether to request recovery, and the original reply deadline still applies.
Check the reason before changing your plan
Suppose a business coach has a workflow that sends an offer worksheet after an Instagram request. Some requests arrive after the monthly automation allowance is exhausted. Those quota-skipped events may be recoverable.
A disconnected Instagram account, a paused contact, and a failed provider send are different problems. Start with the reason shown in Activity. A larger allowance only addresses missing capacity; use the delivery troubleshooting guide for other failures.
The recovery card shows the eligible count and Earliest window closes. It describes the work that can still be considered now, rather than every skipped record in your history.

Sample activity: three runs are still eligible. The deadline matters even when capacity is available.
Work out what can still be recovered
LinkStack uses these windows when selecting quota-skipped Instagram events for recovery:
| Original event | Recovery window |
|---|---|
| A comment needing its first private reply | Within seven days of the comment |
| A DM or story event | Within 24 hours of that original inbound event |
| An Instagram Live comment | Excluded from this recovery action |
The automation must still be active and its account connected. The messaging-window guide explains the difference between a comment’s private reply and an ongoing DM conversation.
Recovery keeps the original event time. Requesting a retry, returning from checkout, or starting a new billing period does not restart that clock. If the event has expired, it cannot be made eligible by upgrading.
Request the rerun explicitly
If the card shows Upgrade to rerun, review your capacity options. After capacity is available, return to Activity → Skipped. Check the eligible count again because time has passed.
Before selecting Rerun skipped automations, check the current workflow and the resource it will send. If you changed the worksheet offer or paused the automation since the original request, resolve that first. Recovery still follows current rules and checks.
Each request handles up to 50 eligible runs. Capacity is checked again as work is admitted, so a displayed count is not a reservation of that capacity.
The recovery setup guide gives the full click path and the likely reasons an event becomes unavailable.
Read “queued” as a checkpoint
Reruns queued confirms that LinkStack accepted the work for processing. A later step still has to run the workflow and attempt delivery.

This is a simulated queue confirmation. No message was sent to make the screenshot. In your account, inspect Activity for the subsequent outcome.
Choose Refresh activity and inspect the new result. The original skipped record remains part of the history. If only part of a batch queued, read the failed or unavailable counts before requesting more work.
Contact pauses, repeat-trigger guards, insufficient AI credits when an AI step is involved, deleted comments, or a provider error can still stop a reply. A deadline can also expire after the page first loads. Follow the reason shown for the affected run; do not assume every selected event was sent.
If more eligible runs remain, request another batch while the capacity and time windows allow it. Then check the results again. Open Automations to review the skipped activity you can still recover.
