How to create and publish a digital product

What products support

Digital products can include PDFs, ZIPs, audio, video, images, and documents. Product pages support a thumbnail, description, CTA label, summary, details, and a custom button color.

Steps

1. 1Open Dashboard, then Products.
2. 2Click New product.
3. 3Add the product title.
4. 4Edit the URL slug if you want a cleaner public link.
5. 5Write the description and product info.
6. 6Set the price.
7. 7Turn on Allow customers to set their price if you want pay-what-you-want pricing.
8. 8Upload the digital file.
9. 9Add a thumbnail if you have one.
10. 10Set Status to Published when the product is ready.
11. 11Click Create product.

Pricing and files

• Normal paid products need a price of at least $0.50.
• Pay-what-you-want products can have a $0 minimum and an optional suggested price.
• The product file limit shown in the form is 100 MB.
• Free, Starter, and Growth have different LinkStack product fees. Stripe processing fees still apply.

After publishing

• Open the product details page to view stats, files, and status.
• Use Add to bio when the product should appear as a product card.
• Use the public product link when you want to share the product directly.
• Set up purchase or checkout-start automations before a launch if you want follow-up emails.
