Before you start
- 1Open Settings, then Email.
- 2Save your sender name, contact email, and valid mailing address.
- 3Make sure the contacts you expect to reach are subscribed and have valid email addresses.
- 4Return to Dashboard, then open Broadcasts.
Write the broadcast
- 1Click New broadcast.
- 2Give it an internal name. Recipients do not see this name.
- 3Check the sender name and reply-to email.
- 4Add a subject, optional preview text, and the message.
- 5Optionally add a button label and button link. Add both or leave both blank.
- 6For a button link, paste a complete URL that starts with http:// or https://. The field shows the URL warning before the broadcast can be saved or tested.
- 7Review the live email preview, including the sender footer.
- 8Click Save draft.
Send a test
- 1Enter an address under Test recipient.
- 2Click Send test.
- 3Open the email and check the subject, preview text, line breaks, button, reply-to address, and sender footer.
- 4Confirm the footer says this is a test and that no subscribers were contacted.
- 5Click Unsubscribe and confirm the test page opens. The test link does not change anyone's subscription.
Send now
- 1Click Review send.
- 2Choose Send now.
- 3Review the eligible recipient count. LinkStack checks eligibility again when sending starts.
- 4Click Send broadcast. Sending cannot be cancelled after it begins.
Schedule for later
- 1Click Review send and choose Schedule.
- 2Choose the date and time.
- 3Choose the timezone the date and time should use.
- 4Pick a time at least 30 seconds in the future.
- 5Review the eligible recipient count, then click Schedule broadcast.
Edit, reschedule, or cancel
- Draft and scheduled broadcasts can be edited.
- Open a scheduled broadcast, make the changes, then click Reschedule to save a new send version.
- Click Cancel send before delivery begins if the broadcast should not go out.
- Once sending begins, content becomes read-only and the broadcast cannot be cancelled.
Who receives the broadcast
- Only contacts with a valid primary email and a subscribed email status are eligible.
- Unsubscribed, blocked, deleted, bounced, complained, and suppressed contacts are excluded automatically.
- Eligibility is checked again for each recipient before delivery, so the final sent count can be lower than the number shown while editing.
- Every delivered broadcast includes an unsubscribe link.
Troubleshooting
- Add a mailing address before you can send: open Settings → Email, complete every required field, and save.
- Invalid button link: use a full http:// or https:// URL and add both the button label and link.
- No eligible recipients: confirm contacts have a primary email, subscribed contact status, and subscribed email status.
- Subject or message missing: both are required before sending even though a draft can be saved earlier.
- Scheduled time rejected: choose a valid timezone and a time at least 30 seconds ahead.
- Delivery count is lower than expected: a recipient may have unsubscribed, bounced, complained, been blocked, or become suppressed before delivery.
