Use LinkStack Smart Links in Manychat
Connect the Manychat beta, select a Smart Link or create one, and use the returned URL safely in a message.

Connect your account
- This connector is in a limited rollout. When enabled, open Settings → Integrations → Smart Links → Manychat. If Manychat is not shown, you can still paste an existing LinkStack URL directly into a Manychat message.
- Choose Create connection key and copy the key immediately. It is shown only once. Install the LinkStack app using your beta installation link, then paste the key into its setup in Manychat. Manychat plan eligibility may vary.
- Return to LinkStack and choose Refresh status after making a request. Connected means the key has been used; it does not confirm that a message was sent.
Choose a link action
- Use existing Smart Link selects from your latest 100 active saved links. Its current app, domain, and routing settings stay in LinkStack.
- Create or reuse Smart Link accepts a destination URL, optional title and campaign, and an affiliate program. Repeating the same settings reuses the link. Changing those settings creates a separate link and uses another available link slot.
- For Amazon, choose an active saved program. Configure tracking IDs and marketplaces under Programs in LinkStack, then reopen the Manychat picker. None preserves the destination's existing tags without attaching a program. Amazon program selection is ignored for non-Amazon destinations.
Send only the current successful result
- Create two text custom fields in Manychat: LinkStack URL and LinkStack status. Immediately before the LinkStack action, clear both fields.
- Map the action's URL output to LinkStack URL and its status output to LinkStack status.
- Add a condition after the action: status must equal ready AND URL must not be empty. Only that branch may send your link button, using LinkStack URL as its destination. Stop or hand off on the other branch.
- Keep the reset and success condition even if your test works: a timeout can leave previous field values untouched. Do not have concurrent flows write to the same output fields for one contact; use separate fields for separate flows.
- Preview the complete automation as a test contact before publishing. Test a valid link, an invalid URL, and a revoked key. Confirm the failure cases never send an earlier link.
Understand the result
- The target app and supported platforms describe the default destination's configured handoff. The visitor's phone, installed apps and browser determine whether it succeeds; a browser fallback remains available.
- The affiliate tag output describes the default destination, not every country-specific destination. A program does not enroll you in Amazon Associates or guarantee an affiliate sale.
- New links begin with country routing off. Review the generated destinations and routing in LinkStack before sharing. Existing links keep their saved configuration.
- Your normal LinkStack link and click limits apply. The connector does not sync contacts or send messages from LinkStack.
Reconnect or troubleshoot
- Lost or exposed key: revoke it in LinkStack, create another, and replace it in Manychat. Revoking the key does not disable the public links already shared.
- Inactive, archived, expired, or deleted link: fix the link in LinkStack or choose a different one. The connector does not recreate a removed link automatically.
- Link limit reached: archive a link or upgrade before creating another. Reusing an existing link does not consume another slot.
- Too many requests: the connector allows up to 300 requests per minute per connection. Use a bounded retry branch after a delay, and keep the reset and success condition. Manychat retries are not assumed.
- A slow first-time URL lookup may time out. A later call with identical settings reuses any successfully saved result.
