Before you start

  • Custom bio domains require a Starter or Growth plan.
  • Create and publish the bio page you want the domain to serve.
  • Use a domain or subdomain you own.
  • Custom domains currently serve bio pages only. Smart Links and Short Links keep their LinkStack hostnames.

Add the domain

  1. 1Open Settings and choose Domains.
  2. 2Enter the apex domain or subdomain.
  3. 3Choose the bio page it should serve.
  4. 4Click Add.
  5. 5Copy the DNS routing record LinkStack shows into your domain provider.
  6. 6Copy the LinkStack TXT ownership record exactly as shown.

Check verification

  1. 1Wait for the DNS provider to publish the new records.
  2. 2Return to Settings and Domains.
  3. 3Click Check beside the domain.
  4. 4Resolve any routing, ownership, or HTTPS message shown by LinkStack.
  5. 5When the status is Verified, open the domain and confirm the correct published bio page appears.

Keep the default URL

The bio page's normal linkstack.fyi handle remains useful for previews and as a backup public URL. Connecting a custom domain does not turn that handle into a branded Smart Link or Short Link.
