Browse and create Collections
- 1Open Email → Templates. Folders and unassigned templates appear together, just like Links and Products. Open System for built-in starters and customer transaction emails.
- 2When reusable templates are enabled for your account, choose New Collection. Open a Collection before creating one to make a subfolder. Use the breadcrumbs to return to an ancestor.
- 3Choose New template inside a Collection to save the template there on its first edit. Duplicating a saved template keeps its Collection.
- 4All templates shows the whole library. Search from the root searches every folder; search inside a Collection also includes its descendants.
Move templates and manage folders
A template has one direct Collection. Moving it leaves its content and saved ID unchanged. System cannot be renamed, deleted, used as a destination, or given custom subfolders. Its messages remain editable through their existing editors; saving a built-in starter creates your own reusable template. Organizing templates never sends email.
- 1Drag a template by its grip onto a folder, or select several visible templates and drag one of them. Drop onto the Templates breadcrumb to return them to the root.
- 2You can also choose Move to Collection from a template’s action menu or the selection toolbar. Select a destination from the nested tree, choose Templates (no Collection), or create a new Collection. Confirm the move. Keyboard dragging uses Space, arrow keys, then Space to drop; Escape cancels.
- 3Use a folder’s Edit action to rename it or change its description. Delete Collection asks for confirmation, keeps every template, returns its directly assigned templates to the root, and moves its immediate subfolders to the root.
