Save and reopen a group
- Open Audience and set the filters for your group. Search text is not part of a saved segment.
- Choose Segments → Save current filters, enter a name and optional description, then Save segment.
- Open Segments and select the name to apply its rules. The contact list updates to the people who match now.
- To rename a segment, use Edit. To change its rules, first set the new filters in Audience, then edit the segment and select Replace rules with current Audience filters. Save to confirm.
- Saved segments are shared with iOS. Location and traffic filters require Growth.
Send a broadcast to a segment
- With Broadcasts access, create or open an email and select the segment under Recipients. Choosing a segment replaces the current included tags or memberships; exclusions are preserved.
- Open the recipient count to inspect matching subscribed contacts. Add exclusions as needed, then continue composing and review the send.
- Rules are evaluated when sending starts and checked again before each delivery. Unsubscribed, blocked, and suppressed addresses remain excluded. New matches after recipients are prepared wait for a later broadcast.
Subscribe matching contacts to an automation
- Apply the segment in Audience and select contacts. Select all matching contacts captures the matching group across pages, up to 5,000 contacts; narrow the filters if the group is larger.
- Choose Subscribe to automation, select a published active workflow, review start timing and channel warnings, and confirm Subscribe.
- This enrolls the selected contacts once. Future matches are not enrolled automatically. Existing enrollment, plan access, consent, and messaging-window rules still apply.
Delete a saved segment
Open Segments, choose Delete beside the name, and confirm. Contacts and existing automation enrollments stay in place. Broadcasts still targeting the deleted segment match nobody; choose another audience before sending.
